Roman Quinn led off the top of the first by reaching on an error but Lail would retire the next three batters as the Railriders came to bat in the bottom of the first. Tyler Wade led off with a single to center but Thompson got a force out at second then got a fly out and a strikeout to end the first scoreless. Rhys Hoskins led off with a double to left, then Nick Williams singled to left, moving Hoskins to third. Lail would then retire the next three batters to keep it scoreless. Mark Payton would lead off by doubling to right then scored when Donovan Solano singled to center to make it 1-0 Railriders. Ji-Man Choi would single to right but Nick Williams would throw out Solano at third for the first out of the inning. Ernesto Frieri came in to pitch for the Railriders in a non-save situation. Frieri threw a 1-2-3 9th to give the Railriders the victory 10-6 over Lehigh Valley.

Thoughts on the game: It was very much a up and down game on both sides. The Railriders built up a big 7-0 lead only to have it cut down to 7-6 relatively quickly. Tyler Wade and Mark Payton had great games for the Railriders. Jesmuel Valentin had a great game for the IronPigs, going 2 for 4.

Up Next: The Railriders conclude their four game series with Lehigh Valley. The Railriders starter is still to be determined with Johnny Barbato DFA. The IronPigs will go with Ricardo Pinto.

News: Johnny Barbato was designated for assignment as the Yankees called up Jordan Montgomery and added him to their 40 man roster.
