Thoughts on the Doubleheader: The Railriders certainly had their chances in both games of the doubleheader. Game 1 was possibly the toughest loss they had as they lost on a walkoff. Though you could argue losing the early 3-0 lead in the second game could hurt as well. Buffalo had a heck of a series against the Railriders.
News: Kyle Higashioka was called up to New York this morning to replace Gary Sanchez was placed on the DL with a bicep strain. In reaction to the callup, the Railriders brought up Wilkin Castillo from Double-A Trenton.
Up Next for the Railriders: A four game series starts at PNC Field on Monday against the Lehigh Valley IronPigs. Luis Cessa faces off against Mark Appel on Monday.
