The Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Railriders and the Pawtucket Red Sox played the 2nd game of their series on Tuesday night. Roenis Elias was the starting pitcher for the Paw Sox. Chad Green got the start for the Railriders. Ben Gamel lead off the game with a walk, Judge would single to move Gamel to 3rd. Slade Heathcott would ground into a fielder's choice but everyone was safe due to a throwing error and Ben Gamel would score for a 1-0 and Aaron Judge went to 3rd. Gary Sanchez then followed with a walk, moving Heathcott to 2nd. Donovan Solano would then hit a sacrifice fly to right, scoring Judge for a 2-0 Railriders lead and would move Heathcott to third. A passed ball would score Heathcott for a 3-0 Railriders lead going to the bottom of the 1st inning. Josh Rutledge would hit a leadoff double to right and would later score on an RBI single to center to cut the Railriders' lead to 3-1 after 1 inning. Elias and Green would go pretty unscathed til the 4th when the Railriders struck. Ben Gamel lead off the 4th with a single to center and Aaron Judge followed with a single, but Gamel would be erased when he was caught stealing third but Gary Sanchez doubled to score Judge to increase the Railriders lead to 4-1. Robby Scott would then come in to the game for the Red Sox replacing Roenis Elias. Rob Refsnyder welcomed Scott with a triple to left field to score Sanchez and making it 5-1. Donovan Solano would then walk and Chris Parmelee singled home Refsnyder to make it 6-1. Cesar Puello would walk but Jonathan Diaz singled to score Solano and Parmelee to make it 8-1 and Puello would advance to 3rd on a throwing error. In all, the Railriders scored 5 runs in the top of the 4th. Chris Marrero and Ryan LaMarre each drew two out walks. Conor Mullee replaced Chad Green on the mound for the Railriders. Mullee would induce a ground out to force out LaMarre at second. Scott and Mullee would each throw a 1-2-3 in the 5th and 6th inning. Pat Light came in to pitch for Pawtucket. Jonathan Diaz drew a 1 out walk and Aaron Judge would single to center with two outs to move Diaz to third, but a strikeout ended the top of the 7th. Mullee would retire 7 straight with another 1-2-3 inning in the 7th inning. Solano would reach on an error with two out but a fly out ended the threat. James Pazos came in to pitch for the Railriders in the bottom of the 8th. Christian Vazquez drew a one out but was forced out at second and then a fly out ended the inning. Kyle Martin came in to pitch for the Paw Sox in the top of the 9th. Cesar Puello lead off the 9th with a single to center, then advanced on a wild pitch. Aaron Judge hit a 2 out double to right to score Puello and make it 9-1 Railriders. Sandy Leon lead off the bottom of the 9th with a single to right to start a rally. Deven Marrero grounded out to first and Chris Marrero struck out looking for the two outs, Ryan LaMarre walked but Josh Rutledge struck out to end the game. The Railriders won their second straight game by knocking the Pawtucket Red Sox 9-1.
