MLB Roundup April 13th

Mets 2 Marlins 1
Kevin Plawecki drove in both runs and Logan Verrett struck out 6 in 6 innings as the Mets snapped a 4 game losing streak. Adam Conley struck out 9 in 6 innings pitched for the Marlins.


Angels 5 Athletics 1
Albert Pujols and Kole Calhoun each drove in 2 runs each and Matt Shoemaker allowed 1 hit through 6 innings, striking out 5 as the Angels swept the A's. Marcus Semien homered for the Athletics.


Mariners 4 Rangers 2 (10)
Dae-Ho Lee hit a pinch-hit two-run home run as the Mariners avoided a sweep as they knocked off the Rangers. Delino DeShields homered for the Rangers.


Phillies 2 Padres 1
Maikel Franco drove in both runs, hitting a homer and doubling as the Phillies knock off the Padres. Brett Wallace drove in the Padres lone run.


Nationals 3 Braves 0
Stephen Drew and Jayson Werth each homered and Tanner Roark struck out 4 in 7 innings as the Nationals kept the Braves winless once again. AJ Pierzynski went 2 for 4 for the Braves.


Blue Jays 7 Yankees 2
Ryan Goins went 3 for 4 with 2 doubles and 2 RBIs with a run scored as the Blue Jays beat the Yankees. Mark Teixeira homered for the Yankees.


Indians 4 Rays 1
Jason Kipnis homered and Carlos Carrasco went 8 innings, striking out 8 as the Indians knocked off the Rays. Curt Casali drove in the Rays lone run with a double.


Tigers 7 Pirates 3
Jarrod Saltalamacchia hit a grand slam for his 100th home run as the Tigers took down the Pirates. Francisco Cervelli, Gregory Polanco and Andrew McCutchen each drove in a run for the Pirates.


Red Sox 4 Orioles 2
Xander Bogearts went 2 for 4 with 2 RBIs as the Red Sox snapped the Orioles 7 game winning streak. Chris Davis homered for the Orioles.


Cubs 9 Reds 2
Kris Bryant hit his first home run of the season as the Cubs took down the Reds. Jay Bruce and Ivan De Jesus drove in runs for the Reds.


White Sox 3 Twins 0
Jerry Sands homered and Carlos Rodon went 6 innings, striking out 6 as the White Sox kept the Twins winless. Phil Hughes struck out 7 for the Twins.


Royals 4 Astros 2
Salvador Perez broke a 2-2 tie with a 2 run home run in the 8th as the Royals took down the Astros. Jose Altuve homered for the Astros.


Brewers 6 Cardinals 4
Domingo Santana broke a 4-4 tie in the top of the ninth with a 2 run home run, he also added a double as the Brewers took down the Cardinals. Brandon Moss homered for the Cardinals.


Rockies 10 Giants 6
Nolan Arenado hit 2 home runs and drove in 7 and Trevor Story hit 2 triples as the Rockies beat the Giants. Brandon Belt homered for the Giants.


Dodgers 3 Diamondbacks 1
Adrian Gonzalez homered and Kenley Jansen made a five out save as Dodgers took down the Diamondbacks. Nick Ahmed homered for the Diamondbacks.
