Derek Distasio and James Graves drew 1-out walks to give it first and second but back-to-back strikeouts ended the top half of the first. Bubba Klein led off the bottom of the first with a walk, but Mickowski would retire the next three batters to end the first inning. Justin Darden got a one out to single to left field but a strikeout and a flyout ended the threat. Mickowski would throw a 1-2-3 2nd inning to keep the game scoreless after 2. Distasio and Graves again drew 1-out walks in the top of the third but a flyout and strikeout kept Crestwood off the scoreboard. Ryan Pietrzyk led off the bottom of the 3rd with a walk, Dominic Yannuzzi came in to pinch run for the Cougars. Thoughts on the game: Tight game throughout. Matt Mickowski pitched very well, giving up only an infield single. Both teams left plenty of runners on base.
