Railriders Weekly Week 2

The Railriders started the season at 1-2 and since then they've won 6 of 7 and are now in first place of the IL North. The story of this week was great pitching performance but not getting run support while they're in the game. Kyle Haynes pitched a masterful game on Wednesday, going 6 innings, allowing 4 hits and striking out 3. Branden Pinder then went 3 innings and got the save, striking out 4. The next day at home against Syracuse, they got another great pitching performance from Tyler Cloyd and the bullpen. Gary Sanchez hit a walk-off 2-run home run in the 11th to give the Railriders the victory. On Monday night, Ben Gamel was a home run shy away of the cycle in the victory.
