MLB Roundup April 10th

Indians/White Sox were postponed due to weather
Yankees/Tigers were postponed due to weather


Blue Jays 3 Red Sox 0
Josh Donaldson went 2 for 4 with a solo home run and 2 runs scored and Marco Estrada struck out 8 in 7 innings as the Blue Jays beat the Red Sox. Xander Bogaerts and Hanley Ramirez doubled for the Red Sox.


Phillies 5 Mets 2
Odubel Herrera went 1 for 3 with a 2-run homer and Jeremy Hellickson struck out 5 in 5.2 innings of work as the Phillies took 2 of 3 from the Mets. Yoenis Cespedes homered for the Mets.


Reds 2 Pirates 1
Brandon Phillips hit a walkoff triple to beat the Pirates 2-1. Eugenio Suarez hit his 4th home run of the season for the Reds. Chris Stewart homered for the Pirates.


Orioles 5 Rays 3
Manny Machado went 4 for 4 with a solo home run as the Orioles remained undefeated as they beat the Rays. Corey Dickerson homered for the Rays.


Cardinals 12 Braves 7
Matt Carpenter and Brandon Moss as the Cardinals swept the Braves and kept the Braves winless. Drew Stubbs homered for the Braves.


Nationals 4 Marlins 2
Bryce Harper went 2 for 3 with 2 doubles as the Nationals beat the Marlins. Christian Yelich homered for the Marlins.


Brewers 3 Astros 2
Aaron Hill drove in 2 and Jimmy Nelson struck out 9 in 6 innings as the Brewers took 2 out of 3 games from Houston. Jose Altuve and Preston Tucker homered for Houston.


Royals 4 Twins 3 (10)
Terrance Gore scored on a wild pitch in the 10th inning as the Royals kept the Twins winless. Mike Moustakas homered for the Royals. Brian Dozier homered for the Twins.


Angels 3 Rangers 1
Mike Trout had 2 RBIs and Albert Pujols added an RBI single as the Angels beat the Rangers. Nomar Mazara hit his first major league home run for the Rangers.


Giants 9 Dodgers 6
The Giants got home runs from Buster Posey, Brandon Belt, and Angel Pagan as the Giants came back from a 5-0 first inning deficit to win 9-6. Johnny Cueto went 7 innings and struck out 8. Corey Seager went 2 for 5 with an RBI.


Rockies 6 Padres 3
Trevor Story hit his 7th HR of the season, and Carlos Gonzalez hit 2 HRs as the Rockies snapped the Padres 2 game winning streak. Abington Heights graduate Cory Spangenberg went 2 for 4 with an RBI double.


Cubs 7 Diamondbacks 3
Jake Arrieta went 7 innings, striking out 6, he also added a 2 run home run at the plate as the Cubs took 3 of 4 in Arizona. Jorge Soler homered for the Cubs. Paul Goldschmidt homered for the Diamondbacks.


Athletics 2 Mariners 1
Coco Crisp homered in the top of the 10th as the A's took the victory. Marcus Semien homered for Oakland. Felix Hernandez went 7 innings, striking out 10 for the Mariners.
