Rams take high-scoring game with Vikings

The Minnesota Vikings traveled to Los Angeles to take on the Rams. The Vikings are coming off a disappointing loss at home to the Bills. The Rams are 3-0 on the early season and knocked off the Chargers last week. Both teams are looking to get back into the playoffs after making it last season. Who would come out on top in this NFC matchup? Let's get to it!
 The Vikings would start with the ball and go on a 13 play drive that would end with Kirk Cousins going to Aldrick Robinson for a 16 yard touchdown for a 7-0 Minnesota lead. The Rams would answer on their first drive with a 12 play drive as Jared Goff would find Todd Gurley for an eight yard touchdown. The third drive of the game would get into the second quarter and Minnesota would go 12 plays and end with a 37 yard field goal by Dan Bailey for a 10-7 Vikings lead. It wouldn't take long for the Rams to take the lead as it would take two plays and Jared Goff would find Cooper Kupp for a 70 yard touchdown pass for a 14-10 Rams lead. Minnesota on their next drive would find Stefon Diggs for a 34 yard gain and then Kyle Rudolph for a 24 yard completion. Cousins would find Robinson in the end zone for the second time today for the 17-14 Vikings lead. The Rams and Vikings would each go three and out. The Rams would go on a four play drive that would end with Goff going to Kupp for their second touchdown of the game for a 21-17 Rams. The Vikings' next drive would end with a punt. The Rams would take two plays as Goff would find Brandin Cooks for a 47 yard touchdown and a 28-17 Rams lead and the Vikings would drive down the field and kick a 39 yard field goal as the Vikings would trail 28-20 at halftime.
 The Rams would get the ball to start the second half and would try a fake field goal and would fail. The Vikings drive would end with a punt. The Rams next possession would end with a 34 yard field goal by Sam Ficken for a 31-20 Rams lead. The Vikings would answer with a five play drive that ended with Cousins going to Andre Thielen for a 45 yard touchdown pass and the two-point conversion would make it 31-28 in favor of the Rams. The Rams would answer with a five play drive of their own as Goff would go to Robert Woods for a 31 yard touchdown for a 38-28 lead. As we started the fourth quarter, the Vikings drive would end with a punt. The Rams would go 11 plays but the drive would end with no points as the field goal would miss. The Vikings would go nine plays and get a 40 yard field goal by Dan Bailey to cut the lead to 38-31 with 3:50 to go. The Rams would go three and out and the Vikings would take over with 2:20 to go. The Vikings would face a third and 9 and Cousins would find Treadwell for 13 yards, but on the next play, the Vikings would fumble and the Rams would recover. The Rams would get one first down as LA would take the victory 38-31.
