Rainy Weather

There's been quite a bit of wet weather this week. During baseball season, I'd be angry cause games wouldn't be able to be played. During football season, most games will be played in most conditions with the exception of thunder and lightning or natural disasters. There are a few college football games that have either been cancelled or postponed due to Hurricane Florence. With all that being said, here are the previews for the District 2 HS Football games, Top 25 and Local college football games and NFL games.

Week 4 HS Football Previews and Predictions
Berwick at Valley West

Berwick is coming off a win over Williamsport. Valley West is coming off a win against Crestwood. It's a matchup between two undefeated teams and one of the top rivalries in the WVC. Bulldogs QB Alex Force has thrown for 292 yards and four touchdowns and is rushing for 107 yards and four touchdowns. Millionaires RB Treyson Potts is rushing for 180 yards and five touchdowns.

Dallas at Pittston Area

Dallas is coming off a victory over Hazleton Area. Pittston Area is coming off a win over Tunkhannock. Mountaineers RB Leonard Kelley is rushing for 357 yards and six touchdowns. Patriots QB Mike Nocito has thrown for 346 yards and five touchdowns.

Dunmore at Lackawanna Trail

Dunmore is coming off a shutout victory over Carbondale. Lackawanna Trail is coming off a blowout victory over Montrose. Bucks RB Rayshawn Dawkins is going for 129 yards and three touchdowns. Lions QB Nathan Rolka has thrown for 224 yards and four touchdowns and also has three rushing touchdowns.

Holy Cross at Northwest

Holy Cross is coming off their first loss to Mid Valley. Northwest is coming off a blowout loss to Wyoming Area. Northwest will be play their first game at home on their new turf field. Crusaders RB Jeremy Fick is rushing for 118 yards and a touchdown. Rangers wideout Connor Hazlet has nine catches for 99 yards and a touchdown.

Lake-Lehman at Carbondale

Lake-Lehman is coming off a win over Meyers. Carbondale is coming off a loss to Dunmore. Black Knights wideout Casey Kaminski has six catches for 171 yards and two touchdowns. He also has two interceptions on defense. Chargers RB Marino DePalma is rushing for 123 yards on the season.

Mid Valley at Susquehanna

Mid Valley is coming off their first win of the season by beating Holy Cross. Susquehanna lost to Old Forge last week. The Spartans' Colin Hazelton ran for 151 yards and two touchdowns. Sabers QB CJ Stone threw for 248 yards and three touchdowns. He has also has 151 rushing yards and a touchdown.

Montrose at Meyers

Montrose is coming off a loss to Lackawanna Trail. Meyers is coming off a blowout loss to Lake-Lehman. Meteors RB Brendan Kanna has 202 rushing yards and a touchdown. The Mohawks' Nazir Dunell is rushing for 272 yards and three touchdowns.
