I might be a little late to the party from last week, but there were quite a bit of movement this past Tuesday. Several players changed teams and it turned some teams into serious contenders. This past week, there were several games that baffled people and a few of the results were expected. With that being said, here is what happened in Week 9.
Panthers 20 Falcons 17
Cam Newton threw for 137 yards and a rushing touchdown and Chirstian McCaffrey added a touchdown as the Panthers took down the Falcons at home. Matt Ryan threw for 313 yards and two touchdowns for the Falcons and Julio Jones had six catches for 118 yards.
Titans 23 Ravens 20
Marcus Mariota threw for 218 yards and two touchdowns and Derrick Henry added a rushing touchdown as the Titans took down the Ravens. Joe Flacco threw for 261 yards and two touchdowns for the Ravens.
Rams 51 Giants 17
Jared Goff had a career day as he threw for 311 yards and four touchdowns as the Rams blew away the Giants. Todd Gurley had two touchdowns. Eli Manning threw for 220 yards and two touchdowns for the Giants.
Saints 30 Buccaneers 10
Drew Brees threw for 263 yards and two touchdowns and Alvin Kamara added 68 yards and a touchdown as the Saints took down the Buccaneers for their sixth straight victory. Ryan Fitzpatrick threw for 68 yards and a touchdown for the Buccaneers.
Jaguars 23 Bengals 7
Blake Bortles threw for 259 yards and a touchdown and Marquise Lee had eight catches for 75 yards and a touchdown as the Jaguars took down the Bengals. Andy Dalton threw for 136 yards and Joe Mixon had a rushing touchdown for the Bengals.
Colts 20 Texans 14
Jacoby Brissett threw for 308 yards and TY Hilton had five catches for 175 yards and two touchdowns as the Colts got their third win of the season as they took down the Texans. Tom Savage who replaced Deshaun Watson who was injured in practice on Thursday, threw for 219 yards and a touchdown to DeAndre Hopkins for the Texans.
Cardinals 20 49ers 10
Drew Stanton threw for 201 yards and two touchdowns and Larry Fitzgerald had five catches for 70 yards as the Cardinals kept the 49ers winless. Adrian Peterson also added 159 yards on the ground. CJ Beathard had the lone touchdown for the 49ers.
Redskins 17 Seahawks 14
Rob Kelley scored two rushing touchdowns and Kirk Cousins threw for 247 yards as the Redskins took the road victory in Seattle. Russell Wilson threw for 297 yards and two touchdowns and Doug Baldwin had seven catches for 108 yards and a touchdown for the Seahawks.
Cowboys 28 Chiefs 17
Dak Prescott threw for 249 yards and two touchdowns, he also added a rushing touchdown and Ezekiel Elliott rushed for 93 yards and a touchdown as the Cowboys took the victory over Kansas City. Alex Smith threw for 263 yards and two touchdowns and Travis Kelce had seven catches for 73 yards and a touchdown for the Chiefs.
Raiders 27 Dolphins 24
Marshawn Lynch rushed for 57 yards and two touchdowns and Derek Carr threw for 300 yards and a touchdown as the Raiders took down the Dolphins. Jay Cutler threw for 311 yards and three touchdowns and Julius Thomas had six catches for 84 yards and a touchdown for the Dolphins.
