Eagles dominate in Dallas

The Philadelphia Eagles traveled to Arlington to take on the Dallas Cowboys. The Eagles currently have the best record in the NFL and hope to have the NFC East on lockdown. The Cowboys need a win here in order to stay alive for the NFC East. Which team would come out on top in this bitter rivalry on Sunday night football? Let's get into the game! The Cowboys would start with the ball and get a good start. The Cowboys returned the opening kickoff to the Eagles 37. The Cowboys would go three and out and Mike Nugent would kick a 48 yard field goal to give Dallas an early 3-0 lead. The Eagles first possession would result in a four yard touchdown run by Kenjon Barner to make it 7-3. The Cowboys would go on an 11 play drive that resulted in a 27 yard field goal to cut the deficit to 7-6. The next drive would result in a punt. Prescott would throw an interception to Rodney McLeod on the second play of the drive. The Eagles wouldn't be able to capitalize as Jake Elliott missed a 34 yard field goal. The Cowboys would go three and out with the start of the second quarter. Both teams would trade three and outs and another ended in a Prescott interception by Ronald Darby. The Eagles wouldn't be able to capitalize as they would go three and out. The Cowboys would go on a 15 play drive that would result in a 42 yard field goal by Nugent to make it 9-7 Dallas as we headed to halftime. The Eagles would start with the ball and they would go on an eight play drive that ended in a 11 yard touchdown run by Corey Clement and they would go for two and Clement went in to make it 15-9. The Cowboys would get one first down but the drive would end in a punt. The Eagles went on a five play drive that ended in a Carson Wentz pass to Torrey Smith and they would go for two as Wentz went to Jeffrey and it would be 23-9 Eagles. The Cowboys needed to try to get back into the game as Alfred Morris would go for nine on a second and 7 but the drive would end in a punt. As we entered the fourth quarter, the Eagles would face a third and 2 and Wentz would find Jeffrey for 10. They would face a fourth and 5 and Wentz would go to Jeffrey for a 17 yard touchdown. They wouldn't be able to get the two point conversion and the lead would 29-9. The Cowboys would face a third and 5 and the Eagles would sack Prescott and he would fumble and the Eagles' Nigel Bradham would return it 37 yards for a touchdown. They went for two and Wentz went to Burton for two and it would be 37-9 Eagles. The Eagles would get another interception on their next possession by Malcolm Jenkins. The Eagles would cruise to victory and knock off the Cowboys. The Eagles improved to 9-1, increasing their lead in the NFC East to four games with six games to play.
