Ravens shutout Dolphins

The Miami Dolphins came off a big comeback victory over the New York Jets at home and they had a short week as they traveled to Baltimore to take on the Ravens. The Dolphins are currently on their third QB in Matt Moore as Ryan Tannehill is lost for the season and Jay Cutler got hurt last week against the Jets. The Ravens are looking to get back on track as they are a game and a half out of the wild card and two out of the division. Who would come out on top in this Thursday night matchup? Coming right up! The Dolphins would start with the ball and Jay Ajayi would go for 21 yards on second and 15 but that was all the Dolphins could get as they would be forced to punt. The Ravens would get their first possession of the game and Joe Flacco would go to Jeremy Maclin for six on second and 5 but that was all the Ravens could get as they punt the ball and Miami would go on their second drive of the game. The Dolphins would go three and out on the drive and the Ravens would take over. On third and 4, Flacco would go to Maclin for the touchdown. The PAT would make it 7-0 with 8:25 remaining in the first. The Ravens defense would respond with a three and out after the Ravens touchdown. The Ravens offense would go three and out for the first time of the game. The Dolphins would face a third and 5 and Matt Moore would go to Kenny Stills for 20, but that would be all they would get as they would punt the ball again. The Ravens would face a second and 4 as the first quarter came to an end. On the first play of the quarter, Allen would go for nine yards but the Ravens would have to settle on a 55 yard field goal by Justin Tucker to make it 10-0. The Ravens defense would force another three and out. On the next Baltimore possession, Flacco would go to Boyle for five on second and 4 and then Collins would go for 13 yards on second and 9. The possession would end on a 48 yard field goal by Tucker to make it 13-0. The next Dolphins drive would result in a missed field goal from 50 yards out. The next Baltimore drive would result in a touchdown as Ryan Mallett who replaced Joe Flacco who left during the drive after an injury went to Ben Watson for the score. The PAT would make it 20-0 and that would be the score at halftime. The Ravens would start with the ball in the second half and the drive would come up empty as the field goal attempt was blocked. The teams traded punts and the Dolphins were driving as the third quarter came to a close with the Ravens leading 20-0. The Dolphins looked like they had a chance to score but Moore's pass would be intercepted by CJ Mosley and returned 63 yards for the touchdown. The two point conversion was no good and would lead 27-0 early in the fourth quarter. The Ravens would score two more times as the Ravens would shut out the Dolphins.
