Thoughts on the game: It was a tale of big innings in this one. The Railriders had a 2-0 lead after two innings then the Mud Hens scored four runs in the third. The Mud Hens had a 5-3 lead going to the bottom of the fifth then the Railriders put up four runs and that was that. Tyler Wade had a great game, going 2 for 4 with a leadoff home run in the top of the first. Mason Williams was another who had a great game as he went 2 for 3 with an RBI.
News: Ernesto Frieri opted out of his minor league deal with the Yankees. In another transaction, the Yankees also released Jason Gurka from his contract.
