Patriots pull away from the Colts

The Indianapolis Colts traveled to Foxboro to take on the New England Patriots. The Colts are coming off an overtime loss to the Texans and come up a bit banged up with a few players out. Patriots QB Tom Brady is three passing touchdowns away from 500 career touchdowns. Who would come out on top in this matchup of AFC opponents? Let's find out!
 The Patriots would start on a 12 play drive that would end with Tom Brady going Cordarelle Patterson for a one yard touchdown for a 7-0 lead. The Colts opening drive would end in a three and out. After a three and out by the Patriots, the Colts would go on a long 14 play drive but would settle for 38 yard field goal by Adam Vinatieri and would be missed and hit the left upright. New England would capitalize and go on an eight play drive that ended with a one yard touchdown run by Brady for a 14-0 lead early in the second quarter. The Colts would get on the board as they went on a nine play drive that would result in a 54 yard field goal to make it 14-3. After the Patriots and Colts traded three and outs, New England would go 11 plays and Brady would go to James White for six yard touchdown and a 21-3 New England advantage with 1:31 to go in the second quarter. The Colts would try to get a score before halftime but Andrew Luck's pass would be intercepted by Patrick Chung. The turnover would result in a 45 yard field goal by Stephen Gostkowski for a 24-3 as we head to halftime.
 Both teams trade punts to start the second half and the Colts would go four plays that would end with Andrew Luck would go to Eric Ebron for a 14 yard touchdown to cut the Patriots lead to 24-10. The Colts and Patriots would trade turnovers afterward. As we started the fourth quarter, Luck would go to E Swoope for a 13 yard touchdown to cut the lead to one score as the result of a 10 play drive. The Patriots would go six play drive that would end with Brady going to Josh Gordon for a 34 yard touchdown for his 500th touchdown pass and a 31-17. The next Colts possession would end with an interception by Jones and would get a 34 yard rushing touchdown by Sony Michel for a 38-17. The Colts would get a touchdown late in the game to make it 38-24 as the Patriots would take down the Colts.
