The New York Giants traveled to Atlanta on Monday to take on the Falcons. The Giants are coming off a loss to the Eagles. The Falcons are coming off a close victory over Tampa Bay. The Giants are struggling out of the gate at 1-5 and are hoping to get a win. The Falcons are lead by a high-powered offense led by QB Matt Ryan. Who would come out on top in this NFC matchup? The Falcons would go on a quick six play drive that would end with a Giorgio Tavecchio 40 yard field goal for a 10-3 Atlanta lead as we head to halftime.
The Giants would start with the ball to start the second half and would go eight play before they would get stopped on fourth down and the Falcons would take over. Atlanta's first possession would end with a fumble. The Giants would go on a seven play drive that would result in a 36 yard field goal by Rosas to cut the lead to 10-6. The Falcons would increase their lead with a seven play drive that ended with a Tavecchio 50 yard field goal as we started the fourth quarter. The Giants would go three and out.
