As we enter Week 4, teams are looking to prove that they are contenders. Others are looking to get on track after a rough three weeks. All the teams coming in are looking to improve and get better. There are some interesting games on the schedule this week and with that being said, here are the games going to be played this week.
Lake-Lehman at GAR
Time Thurs 7 PM
Lake-Lehman is coming off a loss to Scranton Prep. GAR is coming off a loss to Nanticoke. The Black Knights have lost two straight after beating Meyers on opening night. Running back Trey Borger has rushed for 272 yards and three touchdowns. GAR hasn't looked the best in their first three weeks. One bright spot has been Malachai Williams who has caught five passes for 124 yards and a touchdown.

Crestwood at Berwick

Crestwood is coming off a loss against Coughlin at home. Berwick is coming off a come-from-behind victory over Wyoming Area. Crestwood junior QB Chase Passman has thrown for 401 yards and four touchdowns on the season. Berwick RB Evan Klinger has rushed for 285 yards and two touchdowns.
Prediction: Berwick
Abington Heights at Hazleton Area
Time: Fri 7 PM
Abington Heights is coming off their first win against West Scranton. Hazleton Area is coming off a tough loss to Williamsport. Comets QB George Tinsley has thrown for 204 yards and three touchdowns. Cougars junior QB Sparky Wolk has thrown for 592 yards and five touchdowns.
Prediction: Hazleton Area
Carbondale at Lakeland
Time: Fri 7 PM
Carbondale is coming off a victory over Mid Valley. Lakeland is coming off a loss to Dunmore. Chargers running back Nick Vadella rushed for 244 yards and three touchdowns. Lakeland Quarterback Nico Piriraino has thrown for 297 yards and three touchdowns.
Prediction: Lakeland
Scranton Prep at Dallas
Time: Fri 7 PM
Scranton Prep is coming off a victory over Lake-Lehman. Dallas is coming off a victory over Pittston Area. Scranton Prep is on a torrent pace, blowing out all three opponents. Cavs RB Matt Gilmartin is the big reason why they've been so dominant. Dallas has played well in all three games. Sophomore QB Michael Starbuck has thrown for 239 yards and two touchdowns for the Mountaineers.

West Scranton at Delaware Valley
Time: Fri 7 PM
West Scranton is coming off a loss to Abington Heights. Delaware Valley is coming off a victory over Valley West on the road. Invaders QB Jake Ciullo is the bright spot for West Scranton. He's thrown for 208 yards and a touchdown. Warriors QB Nick Reilly has thrown for 622 yards and five touchdowns for the undefeated Warriors.
Prediction: Delaware Valley
Dunmore at Riverside
Time: Fri 7 PM
Dunmore is coming off a big win against Lakeland. Riverside is coming off a loss to Susquehanna. The Bucks are off to a great start. Seems like every week another player emerges for the undefeated Bucks. Leading the charge is Quarterback Gavin Darcy who threw for 216 yards and five touchdowns. Riverside running back Chase Briskie rushed for 285 yards and a touchdown.

Mid Valley at Hanover Area
Time: Fri 7 PM
Mid Valley is coming off a loss to Carbondale. Hanover Area is coming off a loss to Meyers. Mid Valley QB Zach Cianfione threw for 201 yards. Hawkeyes wide receiver Sean Coleman rushed for 48 yards and caught 13 passes for 123 yards.

Holy Redeemer at Western Wayne
Time: Fri 7 PM
Holy Redeemer is coming off a loss to Mahanoy Area. Western Wayne is coming off a victory over Northwest. Royals QB JD Turosky threw for 252 yards and three touchdowns and he's rushed for 125 yards and three touchdowns. Western Wayne running back Kobe Sauter has rushed for 406 yards and four touchdowns.

Wallenpaupack at Honesdale

This is an interesting game to say the least. Wallenpaupack is coming off a loss to North Pocono. Honesdale is coming off a win against Tunkhannock. Buckhorns Quarterback Tom McCormick has thrown for 262 yards and two touchdowns and rushed for a touchdown. Hornets QB Ethan Dunn threw for 283 yards and two touchdowns and rushed for a touchdown. QBs seem to have identical stats.

Lackawanna Trail at Northwest
Time: Fri 7 PM
A rematch of the District 2 Single-A final. Trail is coming off a victory over Holy Cross. Northwest is coming off a loss to Western Wayne. Lions QB Nathan Rolka threw for 220 yards and two touchdowns. Rangers QB David Piestrak threw for 239 yards and he's rushed for 141 yards and two touchdowns.
Prediction: Lackawanna Trail
Nanticoke at Meyers
Time: Fri 7 PM
Nanticoke is coming off a victory over GAR. Meyers is coming off a victory over Hanover Area. Nanticoke is off to a 3-0 record with the help of their running game. Eric Jeffries rushed for 581 yards and nine touchdowns. Dawson Hughes rushed 312 yards and three touchdowns. Meyers success is headed by Janssen Wilborn threw for 410 yards and two touchdowns. He's also rushed for 280 yards and four touchdowns.
Prediction: Nanticoke
North Pocono at Scranton
Time: Fri 7 PM
North Pocono is coming off a win over Wallenpaupack. Scranton is coming off a victory over Valley View. Trojans running back JC Gaughan rushed for 279 yards and four touchdowns and he caught two passes for 92 yards and a touchdown. The Knights' Ky'Ron Harbin rushed for 150 yards and a touchdown. He also caught seven passes for 193 yards and two touchdowns. This game can prove a lot for both teams.

Pittston Area at Valley View
Time: Fri 7 PM
Pittston Area is coming off a loss over Dallas. Valley View is coming off a loss to Scranton. Pittston Area senior QB Walter Coles threw for 523 yards and five touchdowns. Cougars QB Chandler Fuller threw for 145 yards and two touchdowns. He also rushed for 157 yards and two touchdowns.

Tunkhannock at Wyalusing
Time: Fri 7 PM
Tunkhannock is coming off a loss to Honesdale to go 0-3 on the season. Wyalusing is coming off a shutout loss to North Penn-Mansfield. Tigers running back Logan Cywinski has been great for the Tigers. He's rushed for 527 yards and seven touchdowns. Wyalusing wideout Jon Morrison has 12 catches for 103 yards.

Valley West at Williamsport

Valley West is coming off a loss to Delaware Valley to go off on an 0-3 start. Williamsport is coming off a tight victory over Hazleton Area. The Spartans Sean Mitkovitch rushed for 275 yards and three touchdowns. He also caught seven passes for 83 yards. Millionaires QB Joe Fagnano threw for 722 yards and 11 touchdowns.

Montrose at Holy Cross

Montrose is coming off a loss to Old Forge to go to 0-3 on the season. Holy Cross is coming off a loss to Lackawanna Trail to go to 0-3 as well on the season. Montrose's Maverick Tims has thrown for 92 yards and two touchdowns. The Crusaders Jason Kopf ran for 160 yards.

Old Forge at Susquehanna

Old Forge is coming off a win over Montrose to go to 3-0 on the season. Susquehanna is coming off a win over Riverside to go to 3-0 as well. A big matchup of undefeateds coming up on Saturday afternoon. Blue Devils running back Brendan Mozeleski rushed for 366 yards and six touchdowns. Sabers QB CJ Stone threw for 279 yards and four touchdowns.

Wyoming Area at Coughlin

Wyoming Area is coming off a tough loss to Berwick. Coughlin is coming off their first win of the season over Crestwood. Wyoming Area Sophomore quarterback Dominic Deluca threw for 226 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions. Coughlin running back Jake Cole rushed for 222 yards and three touchdowns in the victory over Crestwood.

King's at Lebanon Valley

King's is coming off a loss to Stevenson. Lebanon Valley is coming off a shutout win over Wilkes. King's QB Zach Whitehead threw for 521 yards and a touchdown. He also rushed for 108 yards and three touchdowns. Lebanon Valley QB Tyler Sterner threw for 187 yards and two touchdowns.

Delaware Valley at Wilkes

Delaware Valley is coming off a victory over Lycoming College. Wilkes is coming off a loss to Lebanon Valley. Del Val running back Devauntay Ellis rushed for 261 yards and two touchdowns. Wilkes tight end Garrett Armstrong caught 13 passes for 152 yards and a touchdown.

Misericordia at Widener

Misericordia is coming off a loss to Albright. Widener is coming off a win over FDU-Florham. Cougars QB Brandon Leap threw for 449 yards and three touchdowns. He also ran for 60 yards and two touchdowns. Widener QB Sean McGauhey threw for 320 yards and two touchdowns.

Gannon at Bloomsburg
