It was announced today that PNC Field will be hosting a HS Football Game between Abington Heights and Valley View. Will be very interested to see how the field will look.

Yesterday, Wyoming Seminary beat #24 Northwest, impressive win by Sem who went winless last year and today, #24 Northwest beat GAR

Most may think #22 MMI beating Meyers is an upset, but I was not too surprised by the result

Hawks 103 76ers 95
Paul Millsap had 28 points and 17 rebounds as the Hawks beat the Sixers 103-95. Thad Young had 23 points.

Knicks 92 Jazz 83
Carmelo Anthony scored 34 points as the Knicks beat Utah 92-83. Tyson Chandler added 15.

Pirates 1 Cubs 0 (10)
Neil Walker hit a walkoff HR in the 10th inning and the Pirates pitching had 10 scoreless innings as the Pirates beat the Cubs 1-0.

Nationals 9 Mets 7 (10)
Anthony Rendon hit a 3-run HR as the Nationals beat the Mets 9-7 in 10 innings. David Wright had a HR for the Mets.

Phillies 14 Rangers 10
Marlon Byrd and Cody Asche hit a HR each and Jimmy Rollins had a grand slam as the Phillies won a high-scoring affair 14-10.

Orioles 2 Red Sox 1
Nelson Cruz broke a 1-1 tie with a solo HR and scored both runs for the Orioles as they beat the Red Sox 2-1.

Division III Baseball
Moravian 10 Misericordia 4
Miles Westrich had 2 hits and 2 RBIs for the Cougars, but Moravian won the game 10-4

Patrice Bergeron scored a goal and added one in the shootout as the Bruins won in the shootout 4-3. Vincent LeCavalier scored 2 goals for the Flyers.

Sidney Crosby scored 2 goals and Marc-Andre Fleury made 25 saves as the Pens beat the Blackhawks 4-1. James Neal and Lee Stempniak scored goals for Pittsburgh.

Ryan Dorosh went the distance on the mound striking out 9 and gave up 1 run on 6 hits in a 5-1 victory over DeSales

Bloomsburg sweeps West Chester
In Game 1, Damin Muth had 3 hits and 2 RBIs to lead the Huskies to a 10-2 win. In the nightcap, Tyler Hill went 7 innings, struck out 8, did not give up an earned run in a 5-1 victory to complete the Doubleheader sweep of West Chester. Damin Muth had 2 RBIs

DeSales takes 2 from Misericordia
Max German had 2 hits and 2 RBIs, but wasn't enough as DeSales took Game 1 7-6 in 8 innings. Chris Boroch and Jeremy DeCotiis each recorded hits for the Cougars. DeSales finished the sweep 9-8 in 9 innings. The Cougars were led by Miles Westrich who recorded 3 hits and 2 RBIs. Kyle Lindsay and Mike Comerford each recorded 2 hits for Misericordia.

Brad Smith had 4 hits, including a triple and 4 RBIs to lead the Huskies to a 16-0 victory over Lock Haven in Game 1. Nick Marza, Joey Casselbury and Damin Muth recorded 2 hits for Bloomsburg.
