With how the season has unfolded, it is really hard to tell who the favorite for the Super Bowl could be at this moment. The NFC looks to be wide open: The Eagles have looked really good but now Carson Wentz is out for the rest of the season with a torn ACL. I believe that Nick Foles can handle the reigns at QB with Wentz out. After all, he did lead the Eagles to an NFC East Division title in 2013. The Vikings look like they have one of the best defenses in the NFC but the question mark is really their offense. Other teams in the NFC that look like contenders would be Atlanta, New Orleans, the LA Rams, Seattle and Carolina. I see it very difficult for any team to sneak in unless one of those teams goes into a free fall. In the AFC, I personally think the Patriots and Steelers are the favorites to go to the Super Bowl. Both however, have had some flaws. The Patriots looked like they struggled early on but have seemed to fix them. The Steelers have had tough times putting away teams and have seemed to make games tougher than they seemed. Well with all that being said, here is what happened in Sunday afternoon's action, the standings and the scenarios for this week.
