Steelers take AFC North with a close victory over the Ravens
The Baltimore Ravens came into Pittsburgh to take on their rivals, the Steelers on Sunday night. The Steelers can take the division with a victory tonight. The Ravens with a win can delay the Steelers from clinching a playoff spot and also increase their chances at making the playoffs. Who would come out on top in this AFC North rivalry game? Let's find out and get this started! The Ravens would start with the ball and would face a third and 8 early and Joe Flacco would go to Danny Woodhead for 22 yards to the their own 41 yard line. On a second and 1, Alex Collins would go for nine yards. On a third and 4 and Flacco's pass would be intercepted by Davis and returned to the Steelers 41 yard line. The Steelers would capitalize with an eight play drive that ended with Ben Roethlisberger going to Le'Veon Bell for a 20 yard touchdown and a 7-0 Steelers lead. The Ravens would start driving down the field but they would get stopped at the Steelers 41 yard line and would be forced to punt. The Steelers would add to their lead on a 12 play drive ending with Bell's second touchdown as he scored from one yard out for a 14-0 Pittsburgh lead early in the second quarter. The Ravens would answer however with a nine play drive ending with Flacco going to Moore for a 30 yard touchdown to cut the Steelers lead to 14-7. The Steelers would continue to add on to their lead as they went on a nine play drive result in a Chris Boswell 52 yard field goal and a 17-7 lead. The Ravens had another answer with a quick five play drive ending with Collins going 18 yards for a touchdown to make it 17-14 in favor of the Steelers. The Steelers would go on an eleven play drive that resulted in a 43 yard field goal by Boswell as they headed to halftime with a 20-14. The Steelers would start with the ball to start the second half and would end with a Pittsburgh punt. The Ravens would get a 47 yard field goal from Justin Tucker to cut the lead to 20-17. The Steelers would go three and out. The Ravens would take the lead with a seven play drive that ended with a one yard touchdown run by Allen for a 24-20. The Steelers would go three and out on their next drive. On the Ravens next drive, Baltimore would be benefitted by penalties that got them a first and goal at the Steelers six yard line and ended with Flacco going to Ricard for a touchdown and a 31-20 lead. The Steelers would go on a 15 play drive that would end in a 24 yard field goal by Boswell to cut the Ravens lead to 31-23 early in the fourth quarter. The Ravens would go three and out on their next drive. The Steelers would be able to capitalize as they went on a quick five play drive that ended with Roethlisberger going to Nix for a one yard score. The two point conversion would fail and it would 31-29 Ravens. The Ravens would move quickly and end with a nine yard touchdown run by Allen to make 38-29. The Steelers would go on an eight play drive ending with an 11 yard touchdown run by Bell to make it 38-36. The Ravens would go three and out to give the Steelers the ball back with 2:25 left at their own 17 yard line. The first play would be a sack by Terrell Suggs and Jefferson. They would face a third and 13 and Roethlisberger would find Jesse James for 16 yards to their own 30 yard line. On a third and 4, Roethlisberger would go to Antonio Brown for 34 yards to the Ravens 30 yard line. The Steelers would have to settle with a 46 yard field goal by Boswell to give the Steelers a 39-38 lead with 42 seconds to go. The Ravens would take over at their own 25 yard. On second and 10, Flacco would go to Mike Wallace for 14 yards. On third and 10, Flacco would fumble and the ball would go out of bounds and the time would run out and the Steelers would take the victory and the AFC North Division Crown over the Ravens.
