Crestwood takes home victory over Nanticoke

The Nanticoke Trojans traveled to Mountain Top on Thursday night to take on the Crestwood Comets. The Comets have won six straight games and are coming off a big victory on Tuesday against Dallas. The Trojans are coming off a loss to Wilkes-Barre Area on Tuesday night.
 The Comets would start the game with a 10-0 run and would hold thee Trojans to a three pointer by Jake Krupinski for a 15-3 Crestwood lead at the end of the first quarter. Andy Kozlofsky would score five straight points to make it a seven point game. Paul Feisel would hit a three pointer to increase the lead to 10 but that was all the Comets would get and Nanticoke would get a basket by Luke Myers and a three pointer by Colby Butczynski as the Comets would lead 18-13 at halftime.
 The Trojans would go on a 6-0 run for their first lead of the game at 19-18. However, baskets by Feisel, Mike Zaleski and a three point play by Ryan Petrosky would give the Comets a six point lead. Krupinski would make a three point play to make it a three point game. However, a three by Feisel and a basket by Mike Zaleski would make it an eight point lead. Jake Krupinski would get a layup and get fouled at the buzzer for a three point play and the Trojans would be down 30-25 at the end of the third quarter. The Trojans would start off the fourth with a basket by JJ Bielecki. Ryan Petrosky would make it a five point game with a basket. Luke Myers would hit a three to make it a two point game. The Comets would lead as high as six. The Trojans would try and would get a three by Krupinski to make it a three point game but Mike Zaleski would sink a pair of free throws with 18.2 to go and Paul Feisel would get a steal and layup and would get fouled for a three point play as the Comets would take a 48-40 home victory over Nanticoke.

Thoughts on the game: Crestwood had some balanced scoring tonight. Paul Feisel had a good game with 12 points and Brad Papura and Ryan Petrosky added 10 each. Mike Zaleski had nine points. For the Trojans, Jake Krupinski had a good game with a game high 16 points.
