Analyzing the Divisions

As we head towards the halfway point of the NFL season, the contenders are starting to take shape. The NFC East looks to be a three team and in the NFC North, all four teams are still alive for the division. The month of November will determine quite a bit as there are divisional games littered throughout the month. The NFC South looks like it'll be between the Saints and Panthers. The Rams are the heavy favorites to take the NFC West. The Patriots looked to turn the corner and the AFC East looks likely. The AFC North and South look like four team races. The AFC West looks to be a two team race between the Chiefs and Chargers. With all that being said, here are the scores of Sunday's NFL games as well as my NFL Top 10 teams.

And then there was one

Only one team remains undefeated so far in this NFL season and that would be the Los Angeles Rams. The Rams have looked like the best team this year with several big offensive pieces like RB Todd Gurley and QB Jared Goff leading the way. In other news, the most impressive win has to be the Dolphins knocking off the Bears in overtime without starting QB Ryan Tannehill. Several divisions are still up for grabs. The AFC North is an interesting one with really all four teams having a chance to take the crown. The AFC South is pretty much a three team race with the Texans, Jaguars and Titans all at 3-3 on the season. The NFC North looks to be very intriguing with all four teams not out of the race. The NFC East looks to be an interesting race as head to November. The Redskins lead the division with a 3-2 record and the Eagles and Cowboys are each 3-3. With all that being said, here are this week's scores and the NFL Top 10.

NFL Scores
Falcons 34 Buccaneers 29
Redskins 23 Panthers 17

Week of Survival

This past weekend showed us a interesting set of games. In HS Football, Valley View proved they belong as the top team in District 2 as they took a road victory in Dallas. Some teams' playoff hopes were potentially dashed as Valley West fell to Abington Heights on Saturday afternoon. In College Football, there were some scares and a few upsets. Michigan State knocked off Penn State at home. Georgia lost to LSU on the road. UCF survived an upset attempt by Memphis as well as a few others. In the Local College Football scene, all three local teams took victories and Misericordia is looking impressive in their seventh season of existence. Potentially their best season to date. After going winless last season, Wilkes has four wins and quite a few impressive ones as well. King's is currently 3-3 on the season but had to replace their starting QB from a season ago. With all that being said, here is what went down this week in HS and College Football.
