A weekly basis

The NFL is interesting because Week by week, the narrative could change. One week, a team looks like they could contend for the Super Bowl and then the next week or two, you can go off about the team's flaws and say there aren't even close enough for the Super Bowl. With all of that being said, here are how the teams fared this week.

-The Chiefs stayed unbeaten by defeating the Philadelphia Eagles 27-20. Kareem Hunt went for 81 yards rushing and two touchdowns and also caught three passes for 28 yards. Kareem Hunt seems to be the real deal after two weeks, but time will tell how good he will be as most rookie running backs fade out late in the year typically. The Eagles fought well in defeat, people expected them to fall and get blown out but stayed in the game right til the fourth quarter.

-After an unexpected bye week, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers started off their season with a victory over the Chicago Bears. Bucs QB Jamesis Winston threw for 204 yards and a touchdown and Mike Evans had seven catches for 93 yards and a touchdown. Bears QB Mike Glennon threw for 301 yards and a touchdown.

-The Arizona Cardinals took down the Indianapolis Colts 16-13 in overtime. Cardinals QB Carson Palmer threw for 332 yards and a touchdown. Wideout JJ Nelson had 5 catches for 120 yards and a touchdown. Jacoby Brissett took over at quarterback for the Colts in place of the injured Andrew Luck and he threw for 216 yards and Frank Gore rushed for 46 yards and a touchdown.

-The Dolphins took their opening game by beating the Los Angeles Chargers 19-17. Jay Cutler made his Dolphins debut by throwing for 230 yards and a touchdown and Jay Ajayi ran for 122 yards. Chargers QB Phillip Rivers threw for 331 yards and a touchdown. Melvin Gordon had a rushing touchdown.

-The Broncos surprised everyone by knocking off the Dallas Cowboys 42-17. QB Trevor Siemian threw for 231 yards and four touchdowns. CJ Anderson added 118 yards on the ground and a touchdown. Anderson also added a receiving touchdown. Emmanuel Sanders had six catches for 62 yards and two touchdowns. Cowboys QB Dak Prescott threw for 238 yards and two touchdowns.
